The thoughtfully furnished bedrooms will not only make you feel at home but also clean and will ensure the top standard quality for you. Staying in a villa will surely give you the atmosphere of the Bali’s making you feel that you belong to that place. That is why Bali is one of the top tourist destinations in all of Southeast Asia.

What to do in Bali

There is a lot to do in Bali, and you will find that the time is limited to see everything you want to. Starting from unlimited entertainment to the best sightseeing, Bali has something for everyone. That is the reason why thousands of people worldwide plan their vacation trips to Bali to experience the luxury and tourist spots.

Some of the things to do in Bali are:

Visit a temple

The first and foremost thing which most tourists do once they visit Bali is to visit the world famous temples to rejuvenate their senses and mind. Worshipping the temples brings peace and calm into people’s lives. The temples are beautifully built and even if you’re not spiritual or religious, you can appreciate the temples beauty.

Dip In the Hot Springs

Hot springs can be just as refreshing as the water on the shoreline, if not more! You can find hot springs surrounded by lush gardens, which offer the perfect environment for an afternoon of relaxation and restoration of energy. You might even take a more intimate dip with someone you love and bond with them over the unique experience.

Hot springs can be found on the northern coastline, or near the shoreline of Lake Batur. If these destinations are near your private villa, make sure to take a day trip and spend an afternoon in the warm waters and lush vegetation surrounding the springs.

Visit the monkey forest

A visit to Bali becomes more interesting when you go on an adventurous trip to visit the cheeky, naughty monkeys. Bali houses the monkey forest where a guide would be of good help to let one be comfortable with the various monkeys around. A guide will also help you learn more about Bali and it’s natural surroundings. Since the monkeys are notorious and have a habit of scratching and often biting, one needs to be careful and calm with them.

Cycle around the countryside

Bicycle rides are very popular in Bali. Often, tourists take up tour packages to cycle around Bali and see the wonderful natural surroundings. The trip usually includes breakfast so one can chill and at the same time have fun without the need of worrying about what to eat and where to go. The trip does not take much time, and it refreshes your mind.

Witness a Kecak dance performance:

The Kecak dance is the traditional dance of Bali and is performed by a group of more than hundred dancers (mostly men), who dance to the tune of monkey chants. The dance is based on the story of Ramayana and is beautifully executed by locals. Some tourists take up Bali packages especially to be a part of this beautiful dance.

Go shopping

Shopping has always been a tourist’s favorite – especially buying something from the local markets of the places they visit, which has almost become a tradition nowadays. Bali also serves many great local types of merchandise and other fun stuff for the shopaholics.

The Butterfly Park

Who doesn’t love the fluttering beauty of a butterfly? How about the fluttering beauty of thousands of butterflies? If this form of nature is enticing to you, make sure to venture away from your private villa to the butterfly park in Wanasari. Pack your camera because you will want to document the beauty you see for all time.

Eating in Bali

If you’re tired of touring around, you can spend time in the finest restaurants of Bali and enjoy the delicious local foods. Some of the top restaurants in Bali are Kubu at Mandapa, BLANCO par Mandif, Hongalia and if you’re on a budget, SizzleWraps.

Nighlife in Bali

Whether you’re a backpacker, young or old tourist, Bali has a variety of nightlife for you to enjoy. If you’re into larger bars and want to dance, Sky Garden is one of the top spots to go and also has affordable food. But, if you’re looking for a drink at somewhere a little smaller that serves great cocktails, check out Baker Street Social.

My name is Jeremy and I used to be a pretty high-up chef in New York City. I worked at a few high scale restaurants and loved it for many years. But then it began to feel like something was missing. After a short trip to Thailand, I knew what I had to do.

I came back to NYC, gave my work notice, packed up and headed out to the road. Since 2015, I've been backpacking around the world (and eating everything!!!). Thankfully with all the walking I do traveling, I've only gained a few pounds hahaha. Read More…
