Chicken Shit Recipe

July 1, 2017 by Jeremy

Here’s a recipe that’s absolutely loved and if you haven’t yet tried it then you’re definitely missing out. Don’t go on its name though, the chicken shit recipe is actually a chicken and rice casserole that’s bound to give the taste buds something to dance to for a long time! Since it’s the main dish, try to keep down the appetizers because you and your guests will need room for this mouth watering food. It’s not even that difficult to make, just make sure you prepare ahead because the baking will take a few hours and then you’ll be good to serve it.

Recipe

The Chicken Shit recipe is perfect for dinners and if you follow the following method then you can easily serve up to 4 to 6 people maximum. That’s right, if you have a few guests coming over, you can treat them with class by serving this delicious dish. Beware though, you’ll be bombarded with questions about the recipe!

Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces: 4-6
  • Cream of celery soup: 1 can
  • Cream of mushroom soup: 1 can
  • Cream of chicken soup: 1 can
  • Brown rice: 1 cup
  • Water: 1 can
  • Butter: ¼ pound
  • Salt and pepper: as per taste

Preparation

While the dish doesn’t take so long to prepare, you’re going to spend a few hours on the baking so be sure you start making the dish well before you’re meant to serve it. Don’t be alarmed, it’s not so difficult to make, you can simply follow the given instructions. Make sure you take out all the ingredients beforehand so you don’t get stuck midway.

Step #1

You can start by putting all the soups in a pot and heat them together along with the butter and water.  Make sure it is on heat well until the said ingredients are mixed well.

Step #2

Take out a baking dish, preferably sized 13×9” and put the rice into it.

Step #3

Once the rice is in the dish, pour ¾ of the soup mixture from the first step over the rise and mix them well.

Step #4

Now it’s time to add the chicken. Lay the pieces on top of the rice and then pour the remaining of the mixture over it.

Step #5

Once you’ve done the following steps, all that’s left to do is bake. This step depends on how much you preheat the oven to. If you’re baking at 250 for two casseroles then you’ll have to bake for 2 ½ hours. However, if you bake at 350 for one casserole then you’ll have to spend 1½ hours on it.

Make sure you take care while handling the dish, you don’t want to end up burning your hand! Keep it to cool for a maximum of 5 minutes before serving. Don’t worry, this is a dish that everyone will enjoy and if you’d like, you can even improvise by adding spices over it.

My name is Jeremy and I used to be a pretty high-up chef in New York City. I worked at a few high scale restaurants and loved it for many years. But then it began to feel like something was missing. After a short trip to Thailand, I knew what I had to do.

I came back to NYC, gave my work notice, packed up and headed out to the road. Since 2015, I've been backpacking around the world (and eating everything!!!). Thankfully with all the walking I do traveling, I've only gained a few pounds hahaha. Read More…
