Safest Hotels in Africa

August 31, 2020 by Jeremy

Africa isn’t just about elegant treehouses made for elephant spotting and deluxe safari lodges. It is the world’s second-largest continent that boasts quite a handful of soundest and luxurious hotels. Whether you’ve come to browse markets, spot leopards or explore South Africa’s hippest city, there’s a hotel for you. So, let’s have a gander at some of Africa’s safest hotels!

  • Polana Serena Hotel

Built in 1922 by the Portuguese authorities, the Polana Serena is a historic Maputo landmark. The hotel rises in the posh Polana garden suburb on one of the capital’s most renowned boulevards. On one side it faces the big FEIRA Crafts Market, a shopper’s paradise and on the other a beautiful beach. Almost every room feels as extraordinary as the presidential suite that has accommodated Tony Bair, the Queen and Bill Clinton. It’s definitely a hotel to visit!

  • Babylonstoren

Babylonstoren is the most stylish hotel in the Winelands. Cape Town city-centre is not far away from there. The hotel boasts excellent service and facilities to make your adventure memorable. The restaurant has a waiting list that is filled two months in advance, while the spa is exceptional. But the star of the show is the eight-acre kitchen garden. It has more than 300 varieties of appetising plant watered by gurgling streams in the gravity-aided irrigation system. There are simply so many things to explore.

  • Migration Expeditions

Peace, space and quiet can be found in abundance out here in the wilds of Botswana. Migration Expeditions is a camp located in Nxai Pan National Park. However, it is open during the wet season. This area is the perfect place to live through the longest zebra migration. What’s more? The camp is comprised entirely of canvas tents. The bar is always open, while the dining tent is a comfortable place around to share stories with other guests.

  • Rhulani Safari Lodge

Rhulani Safari Lodge is one of Africa’s hidden treasures. Located in the remote Madikwe Game Reserve, you can only visit if you’re staying on-site. It boasts the main lodge, as well as seven luxury guest chalets set to either side. Even the facilities and service are top-notch. The staff are particularly attentive and knowledgeable and treat visitors as returning friends more than customers. A place not to miss out at all!

  • Kaya Mawa

It’s a beautiful location on the southern coast of Likoma Island. It represents Malawi’s most beautiful lodge. Even the décor is excellently in keeping with its natural surroundings. Activities are centred around the lake, with snorkelling, paddleboards, kayaks, boat trips and kite surfing all available. When it comes to the food and drink, it’s no wonder why Kaya Mawa wins awards for its cuisine. It serves imaginative and delicious meals. It’s an ideal place to spend holidays with your family.

So, There You Go…

Regardless of your choice, you’ll love the sumptuous décor of these hotels, as well as the world-class services. These also provide a peaceful atmosphere where you can sit back and enjoy your favourite games at Aspers Online, from the comfort of your couch. Do not forget to check out the interesting promotional offers on the site, to level up your gaming experience! The total relaxation package!

My name is Jeremy and I used to be a pretty high-up chef in New York City. I worked at a few high scale restaurants and loved it for many years. But then it began to feel like something was missing. After a short trip to Thailand, I knew what I had to do.

I came back to NYC, gave my work notice, packed up and headed out to the road. Since 2015, I've been backpacking around the world (and eating everything!!!). Thankfully with all the walking I do traveling, I've only gained a few pounds hahaha. Read More…
