Parmesan Bake

1½ cups uncooked spaghetti noodles broken into 2 inch pieces
2 tbs butter
1 small onion
1 lb. ground turkey
4 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 cups milk
t tsp worcestershire sauce
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 medium tomatoes


Cook spaghetti in boiling water until tender. Drain.

Brown the chopped onion and ground turkey in the 2 tbsp butter in a skillet. Drain.

In another saucepan, melt the 4 tbsp butter. Add flour and seasonings and mix well. Slowly add milk and worcestershire sauce, mixing well. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened and smooth.

Remove from heat and add cooked spaghetti and 3/4 cup parmesan cheese.

Place half of the spaghetti mixture in the bottom of a 2 qt baking dish, top with half of meat and half of the sliced tomatoes, then sprinkle with ½ of cheese. Repeat layers and sprinkle the last ½ of cheese on top.

Bake in 350ºF preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.

Makes about 6 servings.
