I know it's been ages since I posted anything, but a friend shared this recipe with me today, and I cooked it for dinner tonight and it was amazing!

Use a pre-made pizza crust or your own pizza crust recipe. Partly cook the crust first.

Sauce:

1/3 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
1/8 tsp white pepper
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp vegetable or chicken bouillion
1/4 cup grated parmesan

Topping:

1/2 pound bacon or veggie bacon, cooked and chopped
1 1/2 cups grated cheese - cheddar or Monteray Jack
1 cup grilled onion
grated parmesan to taste

Preheat oven to 425. While making the sauce, start grilling the onions and cooking the bacon. To make the sauce, over medium heat, mix the butter, flour, and onion to make a roux. Slowly add the milk, stirring constantly. Add the bouillion and pepper. As sauce starts to thicken, add the parmesan. You will need to stir frequently until the sauce is thick.

Pour the sauce over the partially cooked pizza crust. Top with grated cheese, grilled onion, and chopped pieces of bacon. Sprinkle parmesan over the top and cook for about 12 minutes, or until crust is lightly browned and cheese melted.
