Tender Pork Roast

For a very tender, and very tasty pork roast try the following brine.

8 cups hot water
1.5 cups brown sugar
2 cups kosher salt
peppercorns
1 clove garlic

Stir together until dissolved. Add 8 cups of cold water.

Soak Pork Roast atleast 3-4 hours in refrigerator. After marinating, rinse pork roast off.

Mix the following.

2 tablespoons olive oil
Sage
Garlic Powder
2 tsp salt
2 tsp pepper

Rub the mixture all over the pork roast. Wrap the roast well in tin foil and cook at 350 until pork is fork tender. I cooked a 6lb pork roast and it took about 4 hours. You can also grill it!
