Summer Grilled Garlic

1 or more heads (not cloves) of garlic
dried sweet basil
olive oil

Cut about a half inch off the top of each head of garlic and place (cut end up) on a small square of foil. Drizzle cut top with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of basil. Seal garlic inside the foil. Once the grill has come to an even temperature, place the packet/s of garlic around the outermost edges. Allow to roast until soft, usually 40 to 45 minutes.

The roasted garlic may be added to your favorite dish or salad. Great spread on bread or toast.
