We've used this barbecue sauce on chicken and pork chops so far - they turned out very, very well!

1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 cups packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

In a medium bowl, mix applesauce, ketchup, packed brown sugar, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic salt and ground cinnamon. Use to marinate the meat or just brush on a few minutes before taking meat off the grill.
