Sweet & Sour Meatballs

This recipe is from Linda N.

2 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 med. sized jar of grape jelly (approx. 10 oz)
1 small bottle Chili Sauce (not cocktail sauce!)

Mix beef and soup mix together adding a few splashes of water to mix thoroughly. Form into small meatballs and place on broiler pan or large baking pan and broil until nicely browned. Drain in collander to remove all fat.

In saucepan, heat jelly and chili sauce together mixing to remove lumps. Gently place meatballs into sauce and allow to sit for an hour to coat. Serve as an appetizer or main course over rice or noodles. Fabulous!

Freezes well.
