
1˝oz. tequila [Hornitos is pretty darn good and not a bad price either]
1 oz. fresh lime juice
˝ oz. Cointreau [or triple sec]
1 tsp. simple syrup [optional]
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with plenty of cracked ice. Shake it up until the shaker's too cold to hold, then strain and pour into a chilled, salt-rimmed margarita or cocktail glass.
To make it slushy, add ˝cup of ice and blend until slushy and pour into a festive margarita glass rimmed with salt.
