Vanilla Flan

This recipe was given to me by one of my friends after trying hers.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of sugar
6 eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of condensed milk

Preheat the oven to 325.

Using a 9 inch round cake pan, on medium, heat up the 1/2 cup of sugar until it gets to a rich carmel color. [use care, the sugar gets really hot and can give you nice blisters]

Place the rest of the ingredients into a blender and blend until mixed. Then pour into the cake pan.

Place cake pan into a deep cookie sheet and fill cookie sheet with enough water as to surround the cake pan.

Bake for 1 hour. Let cool for another hour. Using a knife, separate the edge of flan from pan. Take plate, place on top of cake pan and invert. And Viola, you have yummy and easy to make flan.
