
This is just a "quickie" suggestion. Today for lunch we had deli-style sandwiches on toasted bagels. Nothing unusual about that, really. The bit that I wanted to pass on was that instead of lettuce, we used a handful of mixed sprouts, in this case onion and alfalfa. Yum, what a nice addition to a sandwich. Crunchy, flavorful, certainly nutritious. If you haven't tried it before, I really recommend it, and I want it to be known that I am not a big fan of "rabbit food". I do like salads, but I'm very picky about what sort of greens I have in them (anything that looks too much like a weed is right out). This, however, was delicious. Give it a try!
